I recently got completely hooked on this show when I discovered episodes online. I loved all the teen fun and accomanying angst, the Newpsie peer pressure on the adults, the location, the catering to my short attention span with an array of story lines. The skilled acting level surprised me, but it shouldn't have. I flew through seasons one and half of two, they were fun and light, with a touch of drama. Second half of two started getting a little "real" for me. I'm halfway through season three and it's getting dark, bring back the OC sun! Did the writer(s) go through a divorce season three? Or some other tragic event? Marissa is becoming too tragic, (the actress is great) and that and other story lines are sucking the life out of my beachy, teen fun. I guess I shall persevere and watch the rest. I have a sense of dread now, though. That can't be good. I know what's coming (someone mentioned it above :mad2:) but it's not just that. I don't like being bummed out by my light entertainment. Lots of shows, even long running comedies, do the same darn thing. Usually in the death throes of the show, how ironic.
Well, I'll watch the rest when the WB gets their video feed fixed, it's all glitchy and unwatchable right now, bummer, man.
Great show. The location and transition shots are AMAZING.

Everyone at OC forum- I need your help.
I have contacted everyone on the Terminator, Chuck and Angel forums and I need everyone's help.
I have a game plan to bring down the CW and it will require all of our efforts to stop them.
According to USA Today- the Daytime Emmys have just been picked up by the CW. Here's what I need everyone to do-
1. Boycott the Daytime Emmys and watch the competition of every CW show that there is.
2. Read my thread New WB war game plan- 1st move. You'll see why.
If all of us want our shows back and want a new WB network the time is now. I'm sure you OC people would want to see a new OC or bring the old one back if possible. Think about it.

Autumn Reeser discovered acting at the age of 6 while watching a performance of Cinderella. Following The O.C., Reeser landed the lead on the CW show Valentine.

Willa Holland, starred in the independent feature Garden Party and appeared on Gossip Girl as Anges Andrews. She is the step-daughter of film director Brian De Palma.
