Season 1 Synopsis

In season two of Shameless, it’s summertime in Chicago. Each member of the Gallagher household is trying to beat the heat and stay cool as they work hard to find ways to earn enough dough to keep the cash-strapped clan afloat. Lip sells alcohol and pot out of an ice cream truck with Kevin.  Fiona and Veronica spend their nights working at a happening nightclub. Ian continues working as a grocery boy at Kash and Grab while Debbie and Carl run a makeshift daycare center in the Gallagher’s home.  Frank, on the other hand, uses baby Liam to win sympathy while panhandling to pay off a debt. Everyone, no matter how small, has to pitch in and fill the Gallagher family fund jar because the gas bill will be due, the electricity has to stay on and food must be kept on the table. The Gallaghers continue to be irreverent, endearing, and resilient – but of course they’re still absolutely, wildly and unapologetically SHAMELESS.
