Shiri Appleby was born in Los Angeles on December 10, 1978 and began acting at the age of 4 when she landed jobs in several commercials for Cheerios, M&Ms, and Taco Bell. Her first television job came in the form of soap opera Santa Barbara in 1984 followed by appearances on thirtysomething, Who's The Boss?, Baywatch, 7th Heaven, and Beverly Hills, 90210. After Roswell Appleby went on to appear in many small film rolls including The Thirteenth Floor and The Other Sister before landing a recurring roll as Dr. Daria Wade on ER.
Jason was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Aside from being a series regular on Showtime's Sherman Oaks and ABC's Push, Behr has guest starred on a variety of television shows including JAG, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 7th Heaven, and Dawson's Creek.

Katherine Heigl was born November 24, 1978 in Washington, DC and worked in a number of commercials and modeling assignments for Sears and Lord & Taylor before pursuing acting. Besides Roswell, and appearance on The Twilight Zone in 2002 and her role on Grey's Anatomy, the majority of her acting career has been on the big screen. Her film credits include That Night, Bride of Chucky, Under Seige 2, Knocked Up, and 27 Dresses.

Brendan Fehr was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He and his two sisters were raised by his mother, a case manager at the Stony Mountain Correctional Insitute. In Vancouver for a wedding in 1997, he dropped by Look Talent Management to inquire about quick-cash modelling assignments. Manager Jim Sheasgreen suggested he try TV acting instead. But a week later, he was up for a nine-line guest role on the high-school-at-sea series Breaker High. Then only days away from starting the University of Manitoba and planning to be a teacher, he heeded his mother's counsel that if he wanted to try acting, he should give it the full effort.

Majandra Delfino rose to fame in her role as Maria DeLuca on Roswell. Born in Caracas, Venezuela on February 20, 1981, Delfino moved to the states at the age of 3. Residing in Florida, she excelled in academics, but her interests pointed towards the arts. At the age of 10 she danced in The Nutcracker with the Miami Ballet. After opening for the Bee Gees at a benefit concert at Miami Beach, the girls enjoyed small success. A fews years later both Majandra and Samantha left the group. After singing, Majandra decided to give her acting dreams a shot. Her parents, at first dismayed over their daughters aspirations, gave her a 6-month deadline to test her skills. If all else failed, she would concentrate fully on school. Within months she had secured herself with an agent, and was already landing jobs. She landed her first television series the following summer, playing Tony Danza's daughter on The Tony Danza Showin 1997. It wasn't until 1999, with the success of Roswell that Majandra rose to fan-magazine fame. Her role as the sarcastic Maria DeLuca has sparked many fans all around. Not forgetting her singing talent, you'll see her singing on the show every so often. She also co-starred opposite Michael Douglas in the feature film Traffic (2000).

Nick Wechsler (born September 3, 1978 in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an American actor best known for his role as Kyle Valenti in the Roswell television series. Wechsler moved to Hollywood immediately after graduating from high school, and spent the next six months trying to break into the business. He soon landed a small role as a purse-stealing punk in the television movie Full Circle. Shortly after, he was cast as Kevin "Trek" Sanders, a child prodigy conceived at a Star Trek convention, in the syndicated series Team Knight Rider. He also appeared in Silk Stalkings, Lazarus Man, and the feature film The Perfect Game.

William Sadler began his acting career in New York theatres, appearing in more than 75 productions in just 12 years. His final role was as Sgt. Toomey in the Tony winning show Biloxi Blues. He is also a television star, appearing in such sitcoms as Roseanne (1988) and Murphy Brown (1988) and such movies-of-the weeks as Charlie and the Great Balloon Chase (1981).

Hanks was born Colin Lewes Dillingham in Sacramento, California, the eldest son of Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks and his first wife, the late producer and actress Samantha Lewes, who died of bone cancer on March 13, 2002. He has a sister, Elizabeth (born 1982) and two half-brothers, Chester (born 1990) and Truman (born 1995) from his father's second marriage to actress Rita Wilson. Hanks attended Country School, Sacramento Country Day School, Loyola Marymount University and Chapman University. Hanks also made an appearance in an episode of The O.C.
