I saw an online ad saying Everwood season 2 was coming out on DVD. I wonder if that is true.
Yep, its DEFINITELY TRUE...I bought "The Complete Second Season" at Target yesterday! Unless you're planning to wait a couple years for it to be $14.99 or less, I recommend that you buy it this week, b/c most stores are offering small discounts for this introductory week only (I got mine for $27.99...it will be $29.99 next week!).
From what I've watched of the DVD so far, they did indeed replace almost EVERY song that wasn't written specifically for the show (all of Blake Neely's beautiful work is still intact, which is the most important, of course), but I do have to give the DVD producers credit...they used "sound-alike" pieces for most of the replacements, so only the most hard core "Everwood" fans will notice the change (I noticed, but I'm just happy to have it!). I dare say, I even think a couple of the new songs are more appropriate than the originals, but that is just my opinion...8{D~ I do still stand by my original post that they should leave the series finale music intact, though...outside of putting the DVDs out, it really is the least they can do.
P.S. There are 40 minutes of unaired scenes as bonus material, and the original Season Premiere intro is also intact, including the voiceover from the WB's network announcer Hal Douglas ("'Everwood', the show critics are calling 'The best family drama in years'...Tonight, the Season Premiere.")!

Troubling Watching Unhappy Holidays?

I am trying to watch the episode that was posted yesterday, "unhappy Holidyas" and it will not work. It then goes into the next episode, which then only plays 2:50. Is anyone else having this problem?
