Even if Chuck were based on Get Smart, why would that be a bad thing? I see alot of Get Smart, Airplane!, James Bond (CHuck, "...shaken & stirred, etc"), and maybe even a little Gilligan...All of these were funny/action Shows/movies...IMO, it's complimenting the originals not stealing from them...When they tried to re-visit Get Smart years ago, it didn't work and wasn't funny; Chuck pulls off revising the concept with different twists and keeping it funny...And as much as I liked Agent 99 and Hymie, I like Col. Cassie and Sarah much better ...

Does any one realize that this is a re-hashing of Get Smart. I am not saying that it is not somwhat entertaining but it certainly is not original. Chuck is the new Maxwell Smart with a twist. The Castle is C.O.N.T.R.O.L, the Ring is K.A.O.S. Sarah Bartowski is agent 99, and Casey is Hymie the emotionless killing agent on the side of good. The storyline has become nothing more than good vs. evil with nothing at stake but the emotinal peril of its characters. Chuck needs to man up and be a spy or quit. The three year indecisiveness is getting dull. Chuck and Sarahs' relationship has got to end, I am bored with her character and the constant manipulation of Chuck and his emotinal well being. To kill or not to kill, gimme a break. The Chuck character still stammers in her presence, after three years, and consumated itimacy, yeah right.

Season 3 Synopsis

No more Mr. Nice Spy! Chuck is back and he’s the Chuck you know: the hapless Nerd Herder hopelessly devoted to sexy super spy Sarah. And he’s the Chuck you don’t know: a master martial artist whose brain is locked and loaded with the new Intersect 2.0. How the two Chucks clash, bash and (sometimes) cooperate makes Season Three total, action-packed fun. More new stuff: A dashing rival (Brandon Routh) joins the team, someone from Chuck’s Buy More life discovers his secret and Chuck learns the spy biz can turn the nicest guy dark and dangerous. “For the last two years, we’ve protected Chuck from the world,” the General notes. “But now we have to protect the world from Chuck.”
