Mass Effect 2 Borrows Heavily From Babylon 5

I have always been a fan of Babylon 5 and watched the whole series the first time around and was captivated by the world and the characters created. My older sister bought the entire box set of all the seasons and movies and I am constantly borrowing them to watch over and over again. Love the Shadow Wars seasons and the lead up to it, the gathering of forces etc.
As well as Babylon 5 I have always been a fan of general science-fiction too, whether thats tv, movies or games. I recently just finished Mass Effect 2 and I was surprised by the Bioware developers who borrowed the concept of 'the red dust' in Baylon 5 that came from the Psy Core.
In Mass Effect 2 the 'Red Dust' is distributed by some aliens called the Asari who use biotics (telecknesis) - moving things and people with their mind. They can also do a variety of other things like control people's mind for a short time with their minds.
A group of these asari's sell the 'Red Dust' so that ordinary humans and aliens can have these abilities and for those that do have these type of abilities it will enhance their abilities much more. But, the 'Red Dust' as it is named in Mass Effect 2 is said to be toxic to anyone that uses it for long periods and can lead to death.
When I got to the part of Mass Effect 2 and they were calling this drug in the game 'Red Dust' and explaining what it did my first thoughts where Babylon 5, Psy Core and their 'Red Dust'
But what do you guys think?

I don't think there is a Babylon 5 movie. Babylon 5 Seasons 1-5 is available as a TV Series but the show came to an end a long time ago.
