It was called "Big Nothing", but they must have named it after its box office performance. It was actually very good.
Schwimmer worked in tech support for an Internet Service Provider because he had lost his teaching job due to a disability similar to Alzheimer's. To keep his mind active, he got on people's nerves by reciting trivia like Cliff Clavin. He didn't last in tech support, but one of his co-workers, who had learned the art of being sarcastic without insulting callers, had information on a Reverend. The man looked at porn sites and the co-worker got this information from a database. He claimed to have a daughter who would go blind without an expensive operation, and the Reverend would pay big bucks to keep his reputation, so Schwimmer agreed to help. When the co-worker came for his money, the Reverend had a gun. There was a shot, and Schwimmer showed up, found the Reverend dead, and buried him. That's not really what happened (for one thing, the man Schwimmer buried wasn't actually dead ... yet), and by this time it's clear this is going to be a comedy. A lot of crazy stuff happened. It's in bad taste but you have to laugh at it.

I looked up the movie on your recommendation. Although not in the best of taste, the cast played their parts well which made it watchable. The plot took enough strange turns as to become more entertaining as the story developed.
Surely not a mainstream hit but I think this movie has a real possibility of becoming more profitable as time progresses. A sleeper waiting to be discovered.

Glad I could help.
As for its profitability, I think that depends on the number of commercials they can sell and what is charged for them. Most of the movies I wattch have the same commercials. They don't bother with target audiences. We bunnies would enjoy commercials for fresh vegetables and such, but they never target us. Every movie, regardless of whether it's martial arts, romantic comedy, combat, family adventure, action thriller, or woman-in-jep, seems to be watched by housewives who pay too much for insurance and are otherwise in serious financial trouble.
