Favorite Season?

Which is your favorite season?
I love almost all the seasons.
The season I dislike is season six. It was mostly a sex-fest. No offense. The only thing I loved about that season is that "Once More With Feeling" was so awesome. A musical was a great addition.
But my all-time favorite has to be...the third season.
Why, you ask? Well Angel came back with a great character plot. Faith became a new character and became an evil character, yet I still love her. Anya appears with Xander. <3 them! It's their senior year with all these cool new monsters and the Mayor. Oh! And Wesley! He's a complete dork, but I felt bad for him when they shunned him out. Two Brits was a great idea. Oz and Willow cemented their relationship. Angel left, but in good terms and with good reasons. Great end for the season. I love this season!

I agree with you about Season 6, it was just too much. I think Season 2 and 3 were my faves!

I have to agree 2 and 3 are the best and I like angels reprise in the following ones, buffy and angel are the best together

Season 5. Dawn & Glory, Spike hilarious, Buffy Bot, Willow VS Glory, Riley finally goes, what's there not to like? "The Body" was really sad though, I liked Joyce.

I will say that I like Season 6, only because of the last several episodes. Dark Willow was a massively interesting character, not because she's dark, but because she loses the one she loved to such an idiot (Warren).

Oh man dark Willow was amazing. Those were good episodes.

I can tell you my least favorite season was 4. Although season 4 had one of the best episodes of all seven seasons with "Hush". Seasons 3 and 5 were probably my favorites. "Band Candy" in season 3 and "The Body" in season 5 are also at the top of my favorite episodes from all seven seasons.

Unlike most people I talk to, I really liked season 6 over all. It was a lot darker, a bit sexed up at times, but it had some great episodes in it. There was "Life Serial" where Warren, Andrew and Jonathan test Buffy while she is trying to decide what to do with her life, "Once More With Feeling" of course, "Gone" when Buffy was invisible, "Older and Faraway" because Buffy can never have a normal birthday, I loved "Hells Bells" with the wedding that didn't actually happen and also "Villains", "Two to Go" and "Grave" all the dark Willow stuff.

It wasn't until I bought the DVD set and watched all of season 6 over again, I started to better appreciate the nuances of that dark time. But, horrors, it takes a barf bag nearby, just in case, to watch the worst Buffy epp ever: "Doublemeat Palace."

Some great eps though during that time like the ones MNBird has mentioned as well, I think, gems like "Smashed," "As You Were," "Normal Again," & "Flooded." I also like that season's first two epps that focus on Buffy returning from the dead.
And then, Willow, before she goes postal, I loved her on the Rack, I mean, when she hung out with Rack and Amy.

I liked "Smashed" too, but the ones I listed in my season six list were the ones I thought were the best of the season in my opinion. "As You Were" was not a fav of mine as I was not a big fan of Riley and I found his wife to be annoying. "Normal Again" was a really good episodes, I probably should not have left that one off my S6 list.

I think I liked seeing the darker side of things because it seemed appropriate that Buffy would feel that way after coming back from what she thought was her heaven. It wouldn't have made sense to have her be just like she was before.

Oh yeah, season 6 has some great eps. Like "Hells Bells". I really loved that episode, but I still stand by my point about season 3: the best.
