Padalecki Vs. Jason: The Interview

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008

You might remember Jared Padalecki as dreamy Dean on Gilmore Girls.

J-Pad (if that nickname takes off, remember you heard it here first) also plays Sam Winchester on The CW’s Supernatural.

Now J-Pad is taking his boyishly tussled hair to the big screen in the Friday the 13th remake.

You can watch the teaser trailer here.

Unfortunately, Padalecki is not playing Jason Voorhees, but he is playing the lead dude.

JoBlo.com interviewed J-Pad about the horror remake, Supernatural, and going topless.

You can read the extensive interview here.

Spolier alert! Padalecki perfers “Cool Ranch” Doritos.

Gilmore Girl Becomes A “Doll”

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Everyone’s favorite hot n’ sassy small-town mom is making the move from Star’s Hollow to Broadway.

Lauren Graham is going to be playing Miss Adelaide in the revival of “Guys and Dolls” this spring at the Nederlander Theatre.*

I’ve never seen the musical myself, but I think it is about some no-nonsense wiseguy types, and their little-girl toys. Also, singing.

*This is a funny name for a theater.

The WB-alloween?

Friday, October 17th, 2008

Halloween is just around the corner, and I’ve been scrambling to find a good costume that doesn’t require me to dress slutty. (Did I say slutty? I meant, sluttier. You should see what I’m wearing today.)

Kevin came up with a brilliant idea of dressing up like our WB stars, and found this old article about Gilmore Girls:

You can create the ultimate Lorelai Gilmore Halloween costume by wearing a pretty dress. It should be knee length and modern. Make sure to add great accessories like a necklace, bracelet and earrings.

Great. So…basically…I can wear everyday clothes and call it a costume? Alright, this means I’m going to wear H&M and say I’m from Sorority Forever.
