Why she’s a catch: On Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Summer Glau plays Cameron – a Terminator assigned to protect the future leader of the human resistance. She’s a robot, but her human-mimicking capabilities make her appear warmer than many a homo sapien! Oh yeah, and to further amp up her cool factor, Summer’s Firefly character River Tam knows how to make her way around a spaceship.
Moment in the sun: In TSCC‘s “Gnothi Seauton”, she exhibits a striking combination of fortitude and compassion by admonishing a family of humans to “Remain calm”…before removing her face from the windshield of their car.

Why she’s a catch: The O.C.’s Summer Roberts is played by the ever-alluring Rachel Bilson. Even though Summer’s quip-filled relationship with Seth Cohen plays more like a handy tennis match than a fairy tale romance, she expects to be treated as a princess. High maintenance? Sure. Worth the drama? Well, Seth did name his boat – the Summer Breeze – after her!
Moment in the sun: In The O.C.’s “The Rainy Day Women”, she manages to make a lemon meringue bride’s maid dress look kinda chic. And that takes a whole lotta charisma!

Summer Glau! I love Summer Glau!!!
Summer Glau’s performance on that show was nothing short of legendary. She could make us laugh, cry, or be scared. Cameron is such a deep and complex character, and a lot of the credit goes to Summer. JF gave her a lot of freedom to explore and discover Cameron through the course of the show. The result is one of the greatest Sci-fi characters in history.
River Tam is a great character too. Strange, mysterious, but also very sympathetic. And extremely intelligent. “I can kill you with my brain.”
Summer Glau is an amazing actress and played the role of Cameron very well. I still can’t believe that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles did not get a third season. It was one of the only shows I watched on television. The season two finale was incredible, one of the best season finales for a show period. This show was intelligent and very well written, and I hope it comes back somehow.
Both of these shows are among my favorite series.
Watched all of The OC on box set for the first time this year(love the Summer Character).
And I can’t wait to get Season2 of TSCC when it released.
Summer Glau does a great job with both of Characters, Cameron and Allison. This series really deserves a third season, it has to be my favorite of all time and it’s not right that it has been left on such a cliffhanger – I need some answers it has 2 months since the season finale and I still cannot get it out of my head.
I agree, 100% … Summer is enchanting my TV, really glowing.
And now my blu-ray player just can’t remain calm because of the unique presence and actress skills she has… on T:SCC, with some serious action and drama!
It’s fair to say that Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles was… IS an awesome show. I mean Summer Glau do have a lot of Fans, you know that. T:SCC leverage it even higher!
T:SCC needs a continuation, WB could even make some fine tuning to fit a Network needs… it’s the Terminator franchise diamond, let’s bind it to a golden ring.

Summer Glau’s Cameron was one of the most intriguing characters on television. Her misunderstanding for human life and her constant “glitching” which resulted in an oddly closer relationship with her human “defendee,” John Connor, is the type of drama we need in television. Bring back TSCC WB! We’re continueing to clamor for it.

Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles is imo the best show on tv from 2008-2009 and it’s a shame that it will not be on TV this Fall. This show deserves a new season and to have the story concluded. How can the story be ended in the way that it was? The fans have to know what happened to Cameron and John, and the rest of the characters like John Henry.
Fact: The Resistance Fighters worship the ground Summer Glau walks on.
Fact: The Resistance Fighters are extremely fanatic and obsessed with TSCC.
Fact: The Resistance Fighters were devastated with the cancellation.
Fact: The Resistance Fighters would do anything to bring the TSCC back in any form possible.
Fact: The Resistance Fighters will never give up.
Summer Glau did an excellent job as Cameron. Cameron quickly became my favorite character. It’s so disappointing to hear that The Sarah Connor Chronicles did not get renewed for a third season. I’m still hoping that this show will come back. I wish Summer Glau the best in her career.

Summer Glau is great. I wanted to see her play Allison Young on a 3rd season of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I’m too depressed to watch anything else most days.
Can’t you guys put the show on CW, syndicated i, make it a web series, a movie for TV or DVD? Please?
You should do more articles about the rest of the cast. Lena Headey really brought it to the role of Sarah Connor this last season. So did Thomas Dekker, Brian Austin Green and Garrett Dillahunt
Cameron Phillips, as portrayed by Summer Glau, is our favorite termie of all time! Thanks to Josh Friedman for envisioning her and for bringing her into all our lives. Thanks, also to the WB, for getting the show made (for WHATEVER reasons). TSCC lives on in our hearts and hopefully in another season yet to come. =)

Her beautiful, professional demeanor made Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles an awesome experience and enriched the Terminator-Franchise.
I was lucky seeing Summer @ Fedcon 2009, Bonn Germany. She’s absolutely extraordinary and at the same time so down to earth.
Hope we see her back on screen soon (especially as Cameron/Allison).

If TSCC was made into a DVD series it would rake in phenomenal amounts of money for WB. You will see this for yourself when the season 2 DVD drops. Trust me, season 2 is gonna sell big and a season 3 even on DVD would do even better. Oh and just to add, Summer Glau is the greatest actress of our time. Even her brief appearance on CSI had me enraptured! Allow her to be shown to the mainstream! We NEED a season 3!!
Please find a way to bring back TSCC. Cameron Phillps is one of science fiction’s greateast characters thanks to Summer Glau’s talent.
Summer Glau was wonderful as the terminator. In fact, the whole TSCC show was great. The cast was great. Some of the camera work was breathtaking.
And then there was Summer, the nicest, sweetest, most beautiful…amoral ruthless killing machine ever.
What a great show. I am enjoying the reruns on the WB.com.

Since TSCC Season2 Finale I have emailed and sent letters, pre-ordered Season2, and talked with quite a few people – one thing that surprised me greatly was how many people I know that *really* like scifi had never even *seen* TSCC and really knew nothing about it! To me this says there is clearly a waiting untapped audience… so, a great opportunity there for someone (like maybe WB!?!?!?! or other lucky group???) to bring back a quality show and do well financially =D

Apparently the Resistance has made it here already. Really though, Summer was great as Cameron in Tscc. Brilliant actress. She really is. I just think it’s a shame that WB is letting such a talent go to waste. Seriously, Tscc is in your hands. I want to see Summer as Cameron on your network for at least another year. Bring on a third season.
Hooray for Summer Glau! The WB REALLY needs to push other networks to pick up T:SCC for a new season. It’s really ridiculous that you wouldn’t even try to get a show with such a dedicated fan base picked up by someone else after predictable old Fox cancels it.

Please bring back TSCC for a third season! don’t all the letters, emails, DVD/BD sales mean anything? listen to the fans… There are millions of us all over the world… Nielsen did not speak for them, or even the fans in the US for that matter. Show Nielsen their system is flawed by releasing S3 straight to dvd and then watch the sales!! it’s a win/win for all of us!
River knew how to do a lot more than navigate through a spaceship!
But it’s true, Summer rocks. Look at her track record. She played a mentally unstable paranoid schizophrenic doe-eyed young girl and now she’s playing (or played) an emotionless hardcore unstoppable force to be reckoned with – that takes skill! Characters like these are played by the best, and they win awards for it, too. Anthony Hopkins. Charlize Theron. Jack Nicholson. Sally Fields. Granted, Summer’s characters weren’t quite AS drastically insane as the ones these actors portrayed, though I suppose that could be argued, given everything River went through and what she became.
In any case, this girl can act. Period.
Summer Glau is amazing, no one else could play Cameron so perfectly. The entire cast is great. Bring back TSCC!

Summer Glau is the best though!
Summer Glau portrays her characters with so much depth, she can easily make them alive independently words has been given to her or not. She plays all her roles clever, complex and different (even in the same show, or for the same character: she shows perfectly what phases Allison is going through in the same episode). Not to mention Cameron – she makes the viewers want her to be human at point but Cameron is so proud of being a machine.
These are the values of TSCC: detailed, character-rich and beautifully acted story from all the actors. TSCC makes you think about what it means to be human.
Its audience has come from the terminator-films and non-terminator world (from different generations, with different point of views) and they managed to find something common unique in the show.
It has managed to find a common language through it brought closer the themes which the audience could easily understand and identify with: fear, loneliness, mortality, misjudgement.
Getting a mass attention is not enough if the speaking about a show is not intellectual, meaty. It’s not enough talking about something, the quality of talking counts the most.
TSCC makes people think about serious questions…and leads to useful, hot discussions.
Their talking about TSCC hasn’t lessened, the fruitful discussions are still continuing…the web buzz about TSCC is undeniable.
TSCC has achieved the attention of educated persons.
All these efforts are because TSCC has changed the view of television…It fulfilled the hope that there’s a place for heavy material.
Please, don’t take this hope away.

Somehow someway there must be a 3rd season of TSCC. Summer Glau is the greatest.

She did an astonishing job with TSCC – to be both convincing as a terminator (Cameron) and a terrified human in the post-apocalyptic future (the lovely but doomed Allison) was a very difficult ask and I’m not sure anyone else could have pulled it off like Summer did. Great work.
The show was far too good to receive the fate it did from Fox/Kevin Reilly. The resistance is backing WB all the way to find the show the new home it deserves. It can’t end here….
WB stop playing with the TSCC fans and give us what we are asking for, the SEASON final was a huge cliff hanger and we want to know how it all ends. Get everyone who was major on the show and end it right one and for all!!!
A 2 hour tv movie and dvd movie should do it!

The WB must pick up TSCC for a third Season. This show has changed the way i watch T.V.! I never really watched TV until TSCC aired on Fox. It’s one of the most thought provoking shows in modern times. All of these light hearted programs are great for lighthearted moments, but there are places and times for some good shows and now is the time! We need shows that go beyond the surface and captivate and make you percolate on the meaning of life and other various life substances! WB, Please bring this show back to life. There are millions of TSCC fans that will rejoice all over the world at that decision. This show is beyond the scope of your other scheduled programs and shows. This story line is universal. There are millions and millions of fans worldwide who watch TSCC that aren’t counted in Nielsen ratings because they watch via file sharing. Please consider this plea. With worldwide following opens the door for global marketing. Big bucks are to be made… Bring back our beloved John Connor, Sarah Connor, Cameron (Summer Glau), and the rest of the crew for the best season yet!
