JACKIE EARLE HALEY TO JOIN HUMAN TARGET
PANEL AT WONDERCON 2011
BURBANK, Calif. (April 1, 2011) — No fooling! This just in … WonderCon and Comic-Con favorite Jackie Earle Haley has been added to the Human Target signing (12:30–1:15 p.m., DC Comics Booth #301) and panel (1:45–2:30 p.m., Esplanade) at WonderCon 2011 this Sunday, April 3.
Haley — who plays Guerrero, the morally questionable associate/hired gun to human target Christopher Chance — will join fellow Human Target stars Mark Valley (Chance) and Janet Montgomery (Ames), along with executive producer Matthew Miller, for a look back at the second season of this fan-favorite series, to discuss their vision for the future of Christopher Chance and his team, and answer fan questions.
And, as previously announced…
• Warner Bros. Television will present a Sunday panel (2:30–3:15 p.m., Esplanade) for V, featuring series star Elizabeth Mitchell, executive producer Scott Rosenbaum and guest star Marc Singer (The Beastmaster), who also starred in the original 1980s version of V.
• ThunderCon, Ho! WonderCon becomes ThunderCon! on Sunday for the first-ever fan convention panel (1:00–1:45 p.m., Esplanade) for the new animated series ThunderCats, coming soon to Cartoon Network. The panel will feature a sneak peek at new footage from the series and discussion/fan Q&A with producers Michael Jelenic (Batman: The Brave and the Bold) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender), art director Dan Norton and actor Larry Kenney, who provides the voice of Claudus in the new ThunderCats and was the original Lion-O in the 1980s version.
• And, to kick off WonderCon’s 25th anniversary celebration on Friday, April 1 (4:00–5:00 p.m., Esplanade), WBTV will present an exclusive advance screening of the “Covenants” episode of Nikita (Thursdays 9/8c The CW), six days before its broadcast on April 7.
