Simultaneously appearing over every major city in the world, the Visitors (or V’s) arrived offering the wonders of their technology and promoting peace. The Vampire Diaries Cast Braves Snowy Conditions For Their Fans

Sunday, February 14th, 2010

17865_490370985334_786160334_11169276_4968107_n

Even Snowpocalypse 2010 couldn’t prevent The Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev (Elena), Ian Somerhalder (Damon) and Paul Wesley (Stefan), who’d flown in from Atlanta, from reaching a massive crowd of fans that awaited them at a Southern California mall tonight!

To whet their appetite for the night’s main event – a special Q and A with the cast – a select 500 Vampire devotees met, received an autograph from and, in some cases, hugged Paul at a Hot Topic Meet and Greet session. Next, Vampire Diaries soundtrack contributors A Fine Frenzy treated the entire mall to an energetic jam set.

These early portions of the evening were outstanding in and of themselves, but when Nina, Ian and Paul emerged from a sea of thrilled onlookers and stepped onto the main stage, it became apparent that the party was officially on! In between sporadic cheering explosions, all three castmembers spoke candidly about the joys and humors of working on such a cultural smash.

Plus, in the spirit of the holiday, they proclaimed that they had enough love to be valentines to everyone in the mall! We’ve got some incredible footage to share with you soon – you won’t wanna miss it.

The Vampire Diaries airs Thursdays 8/c on The CW. For more Vampire Diaries, visit CWTV.com!
