Only they weren't playing in our town and the next closest location was sold out. So, we ended up "kidnapping" her and driving south four hours to Fort Lauderdale where we were able to get seats for show. We got a nice suite on the beach for two days and just made a great weekend of it. But we wouldn't tell her WHY we were there until we got to the stadium and, man, the look of happiness on her face when she realized who we were going to see! It was great and the show was AMAZING! Neither I nor my other friend were into the Chicks before that but we both went out and bought their CDs after hearing them live. It was just an overall great experence with friends.
